In her new role, Hollie is responsible for overseeing the Conferences efforts to drive economic growth, improve the quality of life, and enhance Pittsburghs reputation as a top destination for business and talent. Its a big job, but if theres anyone up to the challenge, its Hollie! Shes got a gift for handling complex and sensitive situations with grace, and her ability to build trust and collaborate with diverse stakeholders is unmatched.
Not only is Hollie an award-winning storytellershes been honored by PRSA, inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2023, and recognized as a Community Champion by the Pittsburgh North Regional Chambershes also deeply involved in the community. Her work with Pennsylvania Women Work, Women United (WU) of the United Way of Southwestern PA, and her mentorship with the Three Cups of Coffee program, and PEEL-Pittsburgh's Elevated & Emerging Leaders are just a few examples of how she gives back and uplifts others. Hollies heart for service shines through in everything she does, whether its supporting Light of Life Rescue Mission or Dress for Success. Shes also a proud mom, a wife, and a dog loverher chocolate lab Benson and golden retriever Chandler keep things lively in the North Hills!

This week on the FROST Bites Podcast, we welcome an incredible guest, Jenna Bosi, founder of 412 Foster Project and one of PEEL’s past quarterly charity partners. With over 13 years of experience in the social work field, Jenna brings a wealth of knowledge and insight into the challenges of child welfare, women's health, education, and trauma recovery.
Jenna holds a variety of educational qualifications, including an undergraduate degree in Social Work, an MBA, and an MSW. She is also certified in Public Administration and holds a PhD in Social Work, with a focus on trauma and its lasting effects on the body. Her journey has taken her through roles with organizations such as The Children’s Institute, Allegheny County Jail, Western Psychiatric, and the Salvation Army, among others. These experiences shaped her decision to pivot her career and focus on systemic change, specifically in the areas of child welfare, education, and women's health.
In this episode, we explore Jenna's decision to create 412 Foster Project, an organization designed to improve the foster care system by addressing trauma and offering support to children, foster families, and professionals in the field. Through her extensive background in trauma-informed care, Jenna shares key insights into how systemic change can begin at the local level and radiate outward to create broader societal shifts.
